This course is for the person
who is just starting out in AutoCAD. Learn basic drawing, constructing
and editing techniques. Commands such as line, circle, pline, offset,
trim and stretch will be covered. Layering, changing
display and the basics of layouts will also be taught.
AutoCAD Beginning 16 hrs

Fundamentals
Beginning is for those who have
used AutoCAD for a short time but who would like to get it to do
more. Commands such as xline, block, mirror, otrack, snap/grid and
design center will be covered. Dimensioning, text and creating
new layouts are discussed.
AutoCAD Intermediate

Prereq.: AutoCAD
Beginning
Explore many of AutoCAD's most
under used tools. A wide range of topics including xref, temporary
tracking, dimension styles, polar snap, block attributes and the
divide/measure commands will be covered. You will also be introduced
to customizing and 3D concepts in this fun and informative
class.
AutoCAD Advanced
16 hrs
Prereq.: AutoCAD
Intermediate
Have fun learning to apply AutoCAD's
built in three-dimensional capabilities. Learn wireframe, surface
and solid modeling as well as commands to produce isometric and
perspective views of the models. The production of 2D orthographic
views from the solid models will be included.
