This competency project based class is for the person who has just started using Solidworks. Starting with modeling fundamentals the student will create simple parts using extrude fillet, holes, mirror, and linear patterns. Fundamentals of assembly modeling will be discussed as well as creating the 2D drawing. Features such as revolve, sweep, and loft will be covered. Top down assembly modeling and the use of link values and equations will be explored.
